Answers before
you ask.

Why not on the Play Store?

Store review for apps that ask for notification access drags on for months. So the APK comes straight from here. The app checks for updates itself.

Will you read my bank data?

No. No bank connection, no net-banking login, no account number is ever asked for. The app only looks at notification text — "₹240 debited" — and that happens entirely on your phone. Nothing goes to any server.

Will you ask for SMS permission?

Never. When a bank SMS arrives, its notification is enough — so READ_SMS is simply not needed.

What if the AI gets an entry wrong?

No AI or auto entry is ever saved directly. A confirm card shows first — change or remove it in one tap.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Entries, reports, auto-capture — all offline. Internet is only needed for understanding voice and for sync.

Should I speak Hindi or English?

However you normally talk. "chai twenty", "chai bees rupaye", "chai 20" — all work. "do sau", "dhai sau", "sava sau" are all understood.

On iPhone?

The web app works on iPhone. Auto-capture isn't possible on iOS at all — Apple doesn't let one app read another app's notifications.

Can I export my data?

Yes — CSV, JSON or PDF. Anytime, all of it. The data is yours.

Is it really free?

Manual entry and auto-capture are always free. Money only applies to the heavy AI features — and in early access even those are free.

Privacy

Your money. Your data. On your phone.

Trust matters most in a money app — so no shortcuts were taken here. All the code is open; check it yourself.

  • Notification parsing is 100% on your phone — the text never reaches a server.
  • The AI only ever sees text you spoke or typed. Account numbers, OTPs, balances — never.
  • No bank login or bank connection is needed. We never connect to your bank.
  • An account is optional. Log in only if you want sync — otherwise everything stays local.
01 Why isn't it on the Play Store?

Two reasons. One — store review for apps that ask for notification access drags on for months, and the product loses momentum. Two — staying outside the store means every update reaches you directly, with no review to wait on.

The APK lives on GitHub Releases, and the app checks for updates itself. As users grow it may come to the Play Store too.

02 Does it read my bank data?

No. No bank connection, no net-banking login, no account number is ever asked for. The app only looks at the text of notifications arriving on your phone — like "₹240 debited" — and pulls out just the amount and the merchant name.

All of this happens inside your phone. Notification text never goes to a server, to an AI, anywhere.
03 Will you ask for SMS permission?

Never. When a bank SMS arrives, its notification shows up from the messages app — and that's enough. So the READ_SMS permission is simply not needed.

That was a deliberate decision: the fewer permissions asked for, the less trust you have to hand over.

04 What if the AI creates a wrong entry?

No AI or auto entry is ever saved directly. A small confirm card shows first — amount, category, merchant — which you can change or remove in one tap.

A wrong log is worse than no log. So nothing is ever added behind your back.

05 Does it work without internet?

Yes. Writing entries, viewing reports, auto-capture — all work offline, because data is saved to the phone first.

Internet is needed in only two places: understanding a voice note, and syncing to another device. As soon as you're back online everything syncs by itself.

06 Should I speak Hindi or English?

However you normally talk. "Chai twenty", "chai bees rupaye", "chai 20" — all three work. Mixed Hinglish is understood too.

Numbers can be said any way — "do sau", "dhai sau", "sava sau" are all handled.

07 Will it work on iPhone?

The web app works on iPhone — voice entry, manual entry, full reports. Only auto-capture is impossible on iOS, because Apple doesn't let one app read another app's notifications.

So Android stays the main platform.

08 Can I export my data?

Yes, anytime — CSV, JSON or PDF. The data is yours; if you leave, take all of it, no obstacles.

Delete your account and everything is removed from the server too.

09 Is it really free?

Manual entry and auto-capture stay free forever — those build the daily habit, and charging for them feels wrong.

Money only applies to the heavy AI work (unlimited voice, Q&A, receipt scan) because that has real cost. In early access even that is free.
